Welcome to Lowden Family Daycare! We have been providing a loving, nurturing family atmosphere for children from ages 6-weeks to 8 years old since 1997.

Lowden Family Daycare was founded as a state licensed daycare in Northern California in 1997. In 2001, we moved to the Seattle, Washington area, where we continued to provide the very best quality care to local families for the next seven years. In 2008, my husband received a job transfer offer, and we took the opportunity to make the cross-country move to be closer to our extended family here in the Alabaster/Maylene area. We have been enjoying the South and getting to know our local community for the past 1 1/2 years now!

Woohoo! Now Licensed in State Of Alabama

Lowden Family Daycare is now FULLY LICENSED!

After what seemed like an eternity, we have finally gone through all the licensing requirements for the State of Alabama.

We are now open and ready to take wonderful care of your little ones!

Baby it's cold outside!!

Wow! It was 12 degrees last night! We are in Alabama aren't we??? This is as cold or colder than when we lived in Washington State. I wish we'd get some snow thought. I miss that.
